Happy Birthday Nana

Today is Chris' mom's birthday so I wanted to take a minute to say Happy Birthday to her. We love her and miss her tons! Have a great day Nana, your the best! Love You!

So, I was just sitting here watching Ellen and she had this on her show. Enjoy the laugh. My abs hurt from laughing so hard.

New Videos

Sucess, it finally worked. I took some new videos at the request of Grandma Geshay. The top one is Wyatt dancing to his favorite video Chris Tomlin. The second is him playing on the gym floor at one of Chris' basketball games. What a cutie. I was sitting a little close to someone so you can here her talking, but just watch Wyatt out with the big kids.








Wyatt has been having a hard time going down for naps lately. He's been screaming/crying for about 15/20 min every time. The other day after about 20 min of crying he stopped, when I went in to check on him and put his blankets back in his bed (becuase in his fit, he throws everything out) This is what I found. He had pretty much passed out. I fixed him back the right way and he took a great nap. Enjoy!

Day to Day

As I write this blog it is -2 degrees outside! That's not even the wind chill, way too cold. Our week has been fairly quite, Chris didn't have any games at the beginning of the week so we enjoyed some family time Monday evening. Wyatt is finally getting better after being sick for a week or so. His congestion is finally lifted, which makes me feel a lot better. He's a pretty silly kid as you can see from these pictures.

He loves to watch "mobies" lately, in fact, he asks so much we have really started to say no. The nice thing is his favorite ones are a Chris Tomlin video from his tour and a David Phelps video, so pretty much music. This is his position for pretty much all of the movie (especially Chris Tomlin)

So thankful!

My world has been expanded lately. I read on a friends blog a couple of weeks ago about a family in NC who had just delivered a 26 week old baby. The mother has CF and is in need of a double lung transplant. They are both doing well right now and you can read about them here
There story is amazing, what faith they have displayed to all those around them in choosing to have their baby, it has really given sanctity of life Sunday some special meaning this year. Through it my eyes and my heart have been opened to those with preterm babies and those whose babies will not live but for a few hours. I don't know what to do with this quite yet, except for now pray. What I am writing about right now is how unbelievably thankful I am for my wonderful, beautiful son. My heart aches for those who could lose their wonderful, beautiful children. Tonight I am praying for Pray for Kenzie, Maddox, Dusty and Deacon Stanfield tonight!

Day 2

Today's workout was already easier! Yay! I'm still exhausted, but I didn't feel like I was going to throw up!

It's on again!

Ok, so I'm back on the weight loss track. For Christmas I asked Chris to get me the Biggest Loser Cardio Max video, I promised him that I wouldn't think he thought I was fat :). So tonight I finally started. HOLY CRAP! I am dying, so out of shape! I almost threw up halfway through it and I was so tired at the end, I could hardly do the yoga. I am excited to keep going. I'm sure that tomorrow I will post how sore I am, but when I start losing weight, I will say that it was worth it. So here we go again, help keep me on track and motivated! Kelly, get back to asking me how its going again, it will help me be accountable!

Its been awhile

We are still here. We just haven't been doing all that much, just hanging around, working and just day to day stuff, so there hasn't been much to write about. We did have a few milestones for Wyatt this week. He had his first x-ray. Kaley Butler came down with pnemonia last week and was very contagious. Wyatt was with her 3 days last week, so when he developed a pretty bad cough, a fever and a horse voice I decided I should take him to see the Dr. before we risked spreading it further. So, off we went. Wyatt hates the Dr. he starts crying as soon as his exam begins and doesn't stop until we're done. He's rediculous. So when she was trying to listen to his chest she couldn't hear how he was breathing because of the crying, thus the x-ray. Again with the crying and so the x-ray was double exposed, but she didn't see any pnemonia. What a relief.

The second milestone, Wyatt didn't have to be contained while I took a shower. This has been quite a dilema with me because I need to get clean, but he is a very busy boy and usually gets into trouble. Lately, he has been into movies, so I popped in "Finding Nemo" and jumped in the shower. When I was done, he was still sitting in the same spot loving his movie. Yea! I love this kid!

Wyatt 17mos!

Wyatt is 17 months old. (a few days late) I don't post according to his age very well, but since we are out of holidays to post about and we're not to busy yet, I thought this was a good time for it. He is such a fun kid! Plays well with other kids, which is awesome. He is huge for his age. At his last Dr.'s appt at 15mos he was 33in (I think) and we just weighed him at my parents and he was 27.5lbs. He's been pretty much off the charts in height since he was born and at least the 90% in weight since he was 3months old. Because he is big I like him to play with older kids because he learns what they learn, and people assume he is their age. He loves books!!! He has his own reading corner. He will sit there are read books for 30 minutes at least all on his own. He has great fine motor skills! He stacks blocks together and he can identify shapes and puts the blocks in the right shape. He loves baths. He his a talking fool! I can't even keep count of how many words he can say, but he will repeat pretty much anything I tell him to say, which can be a little scary at times. "Oh, be careful little mouth what you say" He sleeps great (most of the time, I say that now, but he'll probably be up for hours now) He loves watching movies, which we try to limit, but its cute when he asks for "mobies" His favorite foods are bananas, crackers, peaches and pears. He loves fruit and veggies. The veggies have to be cooked to death, but at least he eats those. Well, we love our kid! He gives amazing hugs, we are so thankful that the Lord has blessed us with such an amazing little boy! Here's a cute little video of him playing in the tub and some pictures of him today.

Merry Christmas #2 and a Happy New Year!

We had a great time with Chris' family in New Jersey also! Got to spend time with the entire Morris family, with all the additions. Tim and Stacy, Jen and Chris and mom and dad. We had alot of fun. I have never seen so many presents in all my life. Keep in mind there are only 9 people for all these gifts!

Wyatt had fun opening the presents and fun playing with all of them.

Wyatt also loved the stairs, he wouldn't stay away from them at my parents house or at the Morris' I love the picture with him sitting, chillin on the stairs.

New years was fun too, I have no pictures because my battery on my camera died, we spent it with our friends the Padens. Wyatt woke up about 11pm so he got to ring in the new year with us! We are now home safe and sound. It took us 13 1/2 hours to get home from NJ, it should take 11. We ran into a lot of snow across Ohio and Indiana. Came home to 14 or so inches of snow! We have a huge pile in our front yard, we'll have to take Wyatt sledding when it gets a little warmer, its only 10 degrees. We got home very tired and are now working on getting rested for our lives to get back to normal.
