Brandywine Zoo

Saturday we decided to take a fun family outing. The three of us went to a little zoo in Wilmington, the Brandywine Zoo. It was a lot of fun, there was a nice little park right by it so we were able to walk around it and get some nice pictures. We have discovered Wyatt has a huge love for the "wild" he loves to explore. Not to just be outside, but be in the woods, and on rocks and in creeks. He can't get enough. The zoo was perfect for a two year olds attention span. Here are some of my fav shots of the day.

Wyatt's new love

Coffee. Every day he asks Grandpa if they can "make coffee?!" with much anticipation in his voice. Tonight Grandpa actually gave him a tiny bit of coffee. He really drank it and appeared to like it. Keep in mind that my dad only drinks Starbucks. This kid is crazy. I did warn Grandpa that e would be taking care of the kid if it made him hyper.

I went into Wyatt's bedroom during his nap today and this is how I found him.

Apparantly he has learned to take his diaper off and he didn't have any pants on. Below is after I was able to put his diaper back on. He didn't even stir. I flipped him over and put it back on. Chris and I got a good laugh out of it.

Wyatt turns 2

I can't believe it has been 2 years already. My dad was playing a video tonight of when Wy was born and I started crying. My sweet boy! Everyone tells you how much you will love this little child, and it is so true. I have throughly enjoyed watching my boy grow and develop! It is an exciting time. I love his love for music and his love for playing. I am so thankful for my sweet sweet boy!

Two years ago today!

We had a little party tonight with the family and a few friends. I attempted to make a Nemo cake which turned out all right. Grandpa made homemade pizza and we had ice cream cake. It was a really great day! I can't believe my boy is 2. Here are a few of my favorites from today. I'll post a slideshow later of all of them.
