Awesome Family

I was going through some old pictures today and I found this picture of my awesome family. This was taken at my Grandparent's 50th anniversary party. This was the last time I saw some of these people and that makes me sad because it is truly one of the most fun families in all the world! What a great weekend this was. This is my dad's family, his 4 brothers and sisters and their families. All the cousins were there. We need to have a family reunion!!!! I love and miss you all!!

I'm pretty sure I'm losing my mind

Ok, I know every parent has been there so I am calling out for any advice that can be given (Laura, Kelly, Beccah....) Wyatt is having a VERY difficult time going to bed. Its been a good 2 1/2 -3 weeks and it got better for a few days but then right back to horrible, in fact worse than before. Not only will he not stay in bed after 3 or 4 times he is screaming his head off! We have tried punishment, walking him back to his bed w/o saying anything, taking away things he loves (drumming) the next day, and nothing is working. Do I just keep with it and it will eventually get better or do I try something new. Please help! I miss this....

I LOVE IT!

I am sitting here on the couch right now watching LOST and I keep getting distracted by this little one in my tummy. She is just squirming and squirming around, just above my belly button I feel and elbow or a knee just moving and moving, what a sweet time! I love feeling her move around! She really is a mover and a shaker but apparently she is relaxed by a massage as much as I am. I had a friend (who is a masseuse) offer to give me a free massage so she could practice her prenatal massage and of course I wasn't going to refuse :), and the rest of the day the baby was so quiet, hardly moving. Which I have to admit was a little unnerving but she was moving enough to keep me sane. :) Even yesterday she was quieter than normal. Today, she is back to normal moving all around.

On a side note, I don't know if I posted it or not but I failed my 1 hour glucose tolerance test and had to go for a 3 hour test. I had it Monday morning and aside from getting 4 sticks and having to drink sugar :) it went fine. And I passed with flying colors! Thank goodness!!

We got a little bit of snow a few weeks ago and Wyatt couldn't wait to go out and play. Here is his little cheese face!!

Basement Living

This post is a bit overdue. But here is our basement apartment home. Its actually the largest place we have lived. It has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The bathroom is huge and has a great closet and two entrances, one from our room which is great. The kitchen area doesn't have much working space/cabinets as you can see in the pictures and it has been interesting cooking with out an oven or stove top. I got a skillet for Christmas as well as a toaster oven that can bake some things. I just can't bake dinner down here, and it has been interesting to be creative with it. Lots of crock pot cooking and one pan skillet cooking. Our living area is HUGE, its nice to have so much space for Wyatt to play. Our own entrance has been great too b/c it allows for this to be our place. It is really nice and we are hoping this will help us out financially in the future. For now the baby is going to sleep in our room, which I know their is no picture of, but it was messy the day I took these :) We still have some decorating to do and have done some since these pictures were taken. I'm still getting organized, it comes in spurts. I have had so little energy lately I have to pace myself when I get a bit of it. We are VERY grateful to our parents for this home! They didn't have to do it, but we love it. Wyatt loves going to up Grandma's and saying hi. It is really going well! Enjoy the pictures!

Pregnancy

Well I'm almost to the 3rd trimester and until this point the pregnancy has gone really quickly! Can't say I've loved it but it feels mostly better than with Wyatt. I seem to be carrying her around a lot lower than Wyatt. She's not all up in my ribs and I hadn't had much heartburn. Lately the latter has gotten much worse. Certain things seem to set it off no matter what I do to try to prevent it. I know that the 3rd trimester always seems longer than the rest, but so far so good. No high blood pressure problems like with Wyatt so that is good. She's a mover and a shaker, moving almost constantly! Sometimes I can't believe how much she moves, but its fun.

The only sad note is that apparently my hormones have been out of control and I've been a little testy, which I have felt a little bit, because Chris came to me the other day and said that it was only ok if we only have 2 kids :) He was half joking, bu I've been trying to be a little better no matter how bad I feel! My poor husband! Sorry babe!

Wyatt is doing well, he loves to "zerbert" (blow hard) on my tummy. So funny! His Lucky is doing well.
