Praise the Lord!

I just got off the phone with Beccah, she had texted me a picture of Owen in the hospital. Owen is awake and off the ventilator. Much earlier than expected! He has been awake quite a bit today and seems to be doing ok. Micah asked the dr/nurses today, "So he's gonna live right" and they responded positively. Praise the Lord. Micah puts the miracles happening in phases. Phase 1 was him living after drowning, Phase 2 is living this week and now being off the ventilator and the medications. Miracle phase 3 will be his brain, which is now the next item of prayer. This week he is going to start therapy. So that will tell us more about his brain activity. But praise the Lord for this amazing miracle! Keep praying!

Also, Beccah mentioned that now that he's out of the woods, the financial burden is starting to get heavy. Even with good insurance they could possibly have to pay 20% of the bills they get. So they are probably looking at a huge bill!
