Summer days and the best sound in the world

Wy has been LOVING his shark pool this summer, and it has been a lifesaver for my sanity at times. Its been so hot the last few weeks that we haven't wanted to be outside, but everyone gets a little stir crazy inside all day so its been fun to get out in the pool. The little Bean got in on the action too the other day. I posted a bunch of pic on facebook so if you follow this link you should be able to see them.

Third Birithday Pics

Here's a few pictures of Wy's day! We had a lot of fun with some friends. I love the picture of Wyatt with his two friends James and Liam Paden. What adorable boys they are. Wyatt is doing great and has really become a little boy now. I just looked at a picture of him from when we moved out here and he was still looking like a baby now he is truly a little boy! He is such a fun kid and I love being his mom. I think we have finally got a potty trained boy. Still some accidents here and there, but he is getting better every day. He wears a diaper at night because we still have some and he wears a pull up for rest time just in case he falls asleep, other than that underwear all the time. He is a super fun kid who loves to play with his friends the most right now. He also loves trains and cars. Boy through and through. I thank God for this special gift every day! What a blessing we have been given!

Wyatt turns 3

Yesterday Wyatt turned three, don't know why I can't ever remember to post on actual special days, but better late than never. We celebrated with a family party on Sunday with additional friends the Padens. We had a great time. I'll post the pictures another day. Yesterday was spent going to Wyatt's favorite place to eat lunch Chick-fil-A where he learned the smell my ice cream trick, thanks Auntie Katie! Happy Birthday sweet boy! I can't believe that you are 3 already, and sometimes I can't believe you are only 3. I hope the next year of your life is amazing and that you learn more and more about Jesus! I will try to be the best mommy I can be!! I love you from the top of my head to the tips of my toes....like crazy!!

Weight and Height

I forgot to post about Leah's Dr.'s appt. She weighed 13 lbs 2 oz up from 11lbs. 24 1/2 " long, grew an inch. Both are at the top of the charts, she's a big girl just like her brother. In fact she is the same length he was at 2 months and weighs only 2 oz less than he was. She did great at her appt except for the shots. I have to say that with Wy I never cried when he got his shots, but with her it was a different story. I don't know if it was just b/c her cry was so heartbroken or what. But I was all choked up and when the nurse left I cried. She reacted great after that and even first took her first bottle so Chris and I could go on a date late that day! Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince!

Mean Kids

Now on the parenting front I try not to get too involved in Wy's playing with other kids. For the most part they all get along great. He's got some great friends and a very diverse group at that. He is the youngest of the group by 2 years and sometimes it shows. Like now with potty training, and not knowing when to stop or how to play games with rules. But for the most part they are great. They love to play with him, if he's out they come out. But today, I wanted to yell at one of them. Three of them were playing and the one kid went home, he was gone for a while and emerged with a Popsicle for the third kid and his statement only big kids get the Popsicles. The hair on the top of my head stood up! I told him to go home that if he wasn't going to be nice then I didn't want Wy playing with him. I know that we are all sinners, but that's just low. A lesson I'm sure Wy will learn a lot over his life. Its one that will never be easy for me to watch.
