Phillie's Game

Friday night Chris and I had an opportunity to go out on a date to a Phillie's game. Chris is a huge fan so this was really exciting for him! We had a great time, except for the outcome of the game. The Phils stunk it up.

This is literally the first time that I have actually seen this. It reminded me of living in the midwest. Very cool.

Visit from cherished friends

We had the opportunity to visit with some great friends on Thursday night. The Bouvier family stopped on their was home from BBC. We had a great time getting to know the kids and had a really nice time talking with Amy! What an amazing bunch they have grown into. Love you guys!

Reaching our world

I'm a little behind on blogging so I'll be posting a few in the next few days.





Anyway to the reason for this blog. Our church this last week held our first ever block party for the apartment complex that is right across the street from the church. We had a group come from Biltmore Baptist Church to help us with it. They brought about 130 people to help run the events. They had inflatables, a dunk team, dinner for all the tennents, sno cones, face painting and a concert by their teens. All in all it was great and it was great for people from our church to make contacts with the people who live there. The gospel was given and a few people responded so praise the Lord! Here are few pics from the event.

Wedding Weekend

Last weekend we went up to see Chris' parents and to attend a friends wedding. We had a great time being back on the campus of BBC and seeing how it has changed. The wedding was very beautiful. I took some pics with a friends camera b/c she had 2 little ones with her. I'll try to get them from her and put them up. Here are some pics that we did get with my camera
